Trauma and Change with Insight Academy, "Really gives and in-depth look into how trauma affects people, why they may choose a behaviour & post traumatic growth.”

Greetings one and all,

I recently returned to my exceptionally popular and very important ‘Trauma and Change’ course.  I initially created the course for Stoke on Trent City Council via Expert Citizens Insight Academy.  The Insight Academy have now opened the course up to an array of professionals from across the city.  This included staff from Brighter Futures, CDAS, Concrete, Honeycomb Group, CC Housing, Reaching and the NHS.  I’m well aware that there was a great big waiting list, professionals desperate to attend the event, (I think the lunch definitely helps 😊), plus the lived experience films starring Ryan and Charlotte and case studies from across North Staffordshire.

The thing to remember with my trauma course is that it is a course that equips you with understanding regarding trauma, tools to support people and also demonstrates the wonderful, uplifting stories of people who have embraced post traumatic growth.

On with the feedback!
