Respect and Inclusion with Helping Angels, May 2024, “Steven is BRILLIANT! Impressive and so much knowledge.”

Greetings one and all and welcome to a Steven Talbot Consultancy blog post update. I’ve had a few days off, and it has done me the world of good. Oh yes! Lots of walks in the countryside, dinner out with friends a marathon viewing of all the things I’ve missed while I’ve been too busy with training. Plus, I’ve read three novels in as many days. Now that’s an engrossed reader for you! Needless to say, I’m feeling suitably recharged.

Anyhow, over the month of May, I delivered an array of training course, some of which were created bespoke for various organisations. The course ranged from Motivational Interviewing to Respect and Inclusion, Compulsive Hoarding and team building days.

The first course that I’d like to highlight is the work I did with Helping Angels. An organisation that I have been assisting since 2018. Helping Angels are based here in North Staffordshire. They provide, care guidance and support for all ages ranges. Helping Angels work with customers with physical, cognitive or age-related conditions who need support with daily tasks, domestic routines, and support them with building social relationships and participating fully within the community.

I spent the day delivering ‘Respect and Inclusion’ with various hand-on activities, all of which were created bespoke for Helping Angels. Some of the learners, who were new to meeting me stated that they had initially been dreading the training and then lo and behold, they ended up having a WONDERFUL day! Well, of course they did. Here is a smattering of the feedback comments:
