And he’s back!
This time with a smattering of comments from my Compulsive Hoarding Course that I delivered to staff from Cheshire East Council’s adult social care department. We had a wonderful day, replete with new training activities, interviews and films. All of which went down a storm, with some members of staff sorry that the task had come to an end. I won’t spoil the fun with too many details, but needless to say, book yourselves on and see for yourselves…
I introduced the learners to Paula who I interviewed as part of my research into the on-going support for people who are hoarding. I don’t think there was a dry eye in the house as the learners listened to her story of grief and loss and ultimate post traumatic growth. Paula is a testament to the fact people can and do change.
