Hello faithful reader of the Steven Talbot blog posts,
As some of you are aware, for the past two weeks I've been recharging my inner batteries and re-engaging with my lovely surroundings. I had the joyous luck to discover a family of foxes living in my back garden. My beautiful blackbirds have flown the coop and vanished off to the farmers fields but they'll be back and as promised - I have used my down time to draw several folks who asked me to draw them in certain styles.
These are both chums and people who have attended my training courses. Some of the drawings took me absolutely ages, whereas others were quickfire. Here we have Jamie and Alan - as differing eras Miss Marple, Maureen as my version of a heroic heroine from Black Panther, Elaine as Queen Ramonda and Davit as Thor and his (unnamed) girlfriend as heroine of her homestead; 'Captain Georgia.'
I do love putting pencil to paper, inking, colouring, scanning and making folks happy with my funny little cartoons!
