“Steven was fabulous! So knowledgeable." Motivational Interviewing with Staffordshire County Council, Oct 2026
Greetings one and all,
Earlier this week I had a great start to the week with the troops from Staffordshire County Council. This time it was the Children and Families specific Motivational Interviewing (MI) training. This wholly interactive course has been created with an array of residents from across Staffordshire. The learners get to see and hear real life scenarios, learning how MI was used to support people into lifestyle change. As with all of my training, it was a fully interactive course, less talking from me, more activities for them - practicing their skills and embedding MI into social care practice.
