'Raising the Drawbridge' - Empathy Fatigue, Oct 26. "Thank you Steven for a thoroughly decent day.”
Greetings one and all,
Earlier this week, I had a wonderful day with an array of learners from across Stoke on Trent. This was courtesy of the Expert Citizens Insight Academy. An asset that needs to be celebrated! This time, it was staff from Stoke on Trent City Council, Citizens Advice, North Staffs Mind, Honeycomb Group and Vast.
The course was the newly revamped, ‘Raising the Drawbridge’ Empathy Fatigue and Rational Compassion.
This wholly new version of the course now includes some new resources and training films. These include interviews with social workers, housing officers, clinicians and teachers. All of whom can experience fatigue in the workplace.
