Greetings one and all,
January 2024, saw the launch of my newly revamped Empathy Fatigue course. Feedback was 100% positive and especially enthusiastic. The hard work has paid off. I have thoroughly enjoyed interviewing the new interviewees and also meeting with psychologists and psychiatrists, looking at tips and ways in which people can recover from fatigue ands re-engage with work. Burn-out is a real issue, especially in this most difficult of times and it’s heartening to see so many organisations sending their troops along to the course. Recognising the importance of investing in their staff and their mental and physical health.
Expert Citizens Insight Academy have supported me in ensuring that the course is at the forefront of professional’s minds and is seen as both important and imperative. The honestly and integrity in that training room was very rewarding for me and the assembled learners. Each of them fighting the good fight to support their customers, some of whom have multiple disadvantages and live with trauma. We ARE making a difference and we also need to look after each other.
