Last week, I had the grandest of days with various folks from across Stoke on Trent, courtesy of Expert Citizens Insight Academy.  The course was my extremely popular ‘Trauma and Change.’ One learner had this to say: “Steven provided learning in a way that was relatable and accessible using real life examples so the learning is memorable and embedded.”

This is a subject close to my heart and it is heartwarming to read how both Stoke on Trent City Council and Staffordshire County Council have recently launched their own trauma informed awareness learning tools.  We are all singing from the same hymn sheet with regard to trauma and post traumatic growth.
