Greetings one and all,
Well, the new tax year has definitely begun as I’ve started delivering all of the new look 2026 courses. Staffordshire County Council have always been supportive of my endeavours, and this year has been no different. I will be delivering Children and Families specific Motivational Interviewing throughout 2026 and into 2027. As with all of the sessions I create and deliver, I have updated the course for the new year, and we now have some totally new learning and development activities. I do enjoy delving into the research and thinking, ‘hmmm, how do I make THIS relevant and real?’
I’m keenly aware that some learners really struggle with endless words and reading and case studies galore. Thus, my course ‘Inspiring Change’ is two days of hands-on learning tools that embed the skills required for Motivational Interviewing. It allows the learners to develop and explore the subject matter. As Kev, from yesterday’s training wrote:
“It has been great to learn and self-reflect in an atmosphere that was open and accepting and fun.”
