“What a fabulous trainer!  EXCELLENT!”

Ah Salford, what a beautiful view you gave me.  Greetings one and all and welcome back to my blog post.  Today, I’m looking back at the training I delivered for Turning Point up in Manchester.  I have created a bespoke, mental health, recovery and addiction version of Motivational Interviewing (MI) for the troops and it would appear they really rather LOVED it.  Well, of course they did.  😊

“Moving, inspirational, motivational and generally fabulous.  Living proof of why we do this job and how important all of our roles are.  THANK YOU!”

The training has been a labour of love for me as I went and interviewed an array of people who had addiction issues in the past and what worked and what didn’t work for them.  I also looked at mental health with an emphasis on customers with Bipolar Affective Disorder.  My always popular ‘Not Just Another Manic Monday’ film went down a treat.

Feedback from the learners was 100% positive and I was extremely happy to meet such lovely, motivated and kind-hearted people.

“Amazing training, thank you so much, the funniest, most engaging and hands on training I’ve ever attended.”

“Great, GREAT trainer and training and I have learned a lot. I will definitely be using motivational interviewing with my clients.”

“This was a fantastic course, Steven made it light hearted even when a difficult subject, a personable and relatable trainer.”

“Excellent training.  I loved how Steven explained it all through ‘lived experience’ and his own life stories.”

“Great training, I have learnt A LOT 😊 and plan to use what I have learnt in my role.”

“Extremely informative training, provided me with an array of new skills to use with my clients.”
