"Great course, inspiring story of Malcolm.” That Human Moment with Expert Citizens Insight Academy, July 2024, Making Safeguarding Personal
That Human Moment – Section 42 Safeguarding Training – Making Safeguarding Personal
As always, a massive thank you to Gina Grimes at Stoke-on-Trent City Council and all at Expert Citizens Insight Academy (Darren, Sam, Jonathan, Lee, Sophia, Phil, Malcolm et al.) for asking me to create the somewhat popular course, ‘That Human Moment.’ To say that it has been a hit with the assembled learners would be an understatement. I was commissioned by Gina last year to create a course that embedded ‘Making Safeguarding Personal,’ all the while remaining kinaesthetic and hands on. That is, after all, my forte! Thus, five rather hard-hitting interviews later, films duly edited and a whole slew of research and laminating and cutting out, the course was created and launched.
Each and every session has built on the last, I’ve fine tuned the training and as you can see from the feedback comments people have been extremely engaged with the learning materials and especially the interview that I did with Expert Citizen, Malcolm.
