An October update! "In all honesty Steven is one of the best trainers I've ever experienced."
I have had the most wonderful October, it has been a month of delivering training, devising and creating new training (for 2025!) and recording, editing and crafting new training films, starring my new character of Connie DuBois, who is already becoming a legend. Sometimes, alas, I find that I’m so busy, my blog posts get shoved down the importance list. I know that it’s vital that I share the good news and just how hard I’m working. 2024 has been my most rewarding year so far, this isn’t mere hyperbole, I retained all of my clients from previous years and added some new ones too. The word is spreading and now that I have two associates, the ever so glorious Sarah and Di, the adventures continue and 2025 will be an ever-expanding year of new challenges and escapades.
Throughout October I delivered:
· Lead Worker Training for Staffordshire County Council children and Families departments
· I continued to deliver (and also develop) my Respect and Inclusion sessions for Staffordshire. Now included films that highlight parents of children with learning disabilities
· I returned to Wolverhampton Council to deliver the brand-new version of Children’s Social Care specific Motivational Interviewing
· Public Health commissioned me to deliver Motivational Interviewing training with emphasis on both adults and children’s plus mental health
· I continued delivering the Effective Factual Recording sessions that I created specifically for Stoke on Trent City Council’s Adult Social Care department
· I also delivered the newly re-created (and much better, even if I do say so myself) Compulsive Hoarding course to staff from MPFT.
Feedback from all of the learning and development opportunities I delivered has been 100% positive with some particularly lovely comments from the learners.
November and December bring me even more!
· ‘Inspiring Change’ Motivational Interviewing
· ‘Trapped and Drowning in My Things’ Compulsive Hoarding
· Lead Worker Training
· ‘We’re going to get this right’ Effective Factual Recording
· ‘It’s just banter mate’ Respect and Inclusion
· Trauma and Change
· Empathy Fatigue
And then it’ll be Christmas… 2024 can you slow down a little bit!
