A huge thanks to the troops from Staffordshire who threw themselves into the two-day Motivational Interviewing course. I don’t know what they put in the water at Staffordshire County Council, but keeping pouring it in! What a motivated group. The assembled learners were from across a range of Children’s Services. Adele, Dan, Elise, Emma, Jenna, Jordanne, the legendary Keelie, Lia, Lisa, Naz, Sophia (see you later next month) and Stacy. We laughed, we learned and we put what we had learned into practice.
The collated feedback highlights what they thought of the course and goes some way to demonstrate how I’ve created an interactive, kinaesthetic, practical, Staffordshire specific course that speaks to all their roles. Again, Newcastle Children’s Centre in Knutton were our hosts and they were as fantastic as always.
