“Amazing!  Best training I’ve ever had!” Compulsive Hoarding Training

I spent yesterday in the company of the rather wonderful troops from Lyme Trust in Newcastle under Lyme. The Lyme Trust is a charitable organisation which provides supported accommodation for people living with mental health problems. They also support people with substance misuse and addiction difficulties alongside any mental health issues. They have been very supportive of me and I have been so enthused by them that I recently became one of their trustees.

Yesterday we spent the day looking at compulsive hoarding and how we can support residents who are hoarding and / or having difficulties with order and decision making. My one-day course, ‘Trapped and Drowning in My Things’ is a totally practical course with lashings of psychological support to better equip staff with the skills to work with people who are hoarding.

Here is a smattering of the 100% positive feedback that I received.

“Steven makes training very enjoyable and you really feel that you can improve the way that you work.” Mandy

“I really enjoyed the training; I always do with Steve.” Paul

“The training made me really enthusiastic and the trainer was engaging. Thanks.” Jodie

“Amazing! Best training I’ve ever had!” Kyle

“Lots of activities I feel that I could use with our clients, especially addiction issues.” Sharon

“A very enjoyable course.” Michelle
